The humans portrayed in the movie is the extreme of what we see in reality.
Sometimes some people around you gets so cruel for their own selfish needs. The power clashes gets so brutal, they don’t really care about a good person or her mental health. They exploit you to the core and when you fight for your rights, no one is ready to take the accountability for their actions or provide you justice.
The focus of the world might be wrong, human’s care about coming on top or getting to the top. Competing and proving they are better than someone else. They manipulate and gaslight the innocents for a guy’s attention. They gaslight innocent just to prove their point even though the innocent is breaking is front of their eyes and they know she is normal. They traumatize the innocent because she doesn’t have a voice.
But the innocents learn their lesson and never back down and fight the battle with her voice which was suppressed and repressed for years.
The focus is all wrong, maybe the focus should be to come together and fight for the greater good (and not fight with each other). The focus should be to improve what is wrong, building better roads, developing the mindset of people along with the country. Providing shelter for dogs and educating the transgender and accepting them as a part of the society. The focus should be to eradicating poverty. We don’t really need another monument, what we need is apartments for the homeless and shelter for street dogs with that money. The focus should be to better the education system which concentrates on memorizing and teach them life skills rather than bringing Yale to India. Teaching the children to be kind and empathetic.
Am I the only one who is seeing the possibilities of what could be better if only people saw the world in a view of endless possibilities if everyone came together instead of the power and ego clashes. Am the only one who is seeing love could actually win if only the ego is let go and thousands of unsolicited advises for nothing is let go.
If you wanna get married there are thousands of people talking about how marriage will fail or how you cannot sustain a marriage just cause they are having problems and they think they know you. But do they know that the problems are endless whether you are married or not. Marriage doesn’t create problems, it’s you who is actually the problem when you aren’t ready to work towards it. Anything can work when there is love, respect and understanding, everything has a solution at the end of the day.
This is just me thinking out loud after watching the movie. Sometimes I don’t wanna be with humans I’d rather be best friends with Kiri and Tuk and live with the sea people who are less complicated than humans.
