Finding your therapist.

Every therapist you speak to are not your therapist.

Yes.

If you feel therapy isn’t working out for you, that’s because that person is “not your therapist”. If you end up feeling overwhelmed by the end and you are not able to calm down, don’t blame therapy, it just means, that person is not your therapist.

So how will you know you ask?

You will know when you see yourself changing and you feel good at the end of the session and you feel like talking to that person again and again.

But the most important part of therapy is applying what your therapist tell you, otherwise you will just go round in circles and all this is just a waste of time.

You need to put in the hardwork and reflect and sit with your thoughts. You need to put in the conscious effort to change.

Also, therapy is not a place to unload your trauma. Please don’t do that to anyone. Therapy is a place to grow and change and find yourself.

Therapists can only be your guiding light, the only person who can heal you is you.
