Toxic friends (continued)

(from Harry’s POV)

Karan Punjabi even said after marriage it’s women’s job to cook and clean and take care of the house because the husband always earns more. He always demeans women that way, which I hate because I’m a feminist.

Naudiyal would constantly call me desperate and negative. Like constantly without understanding the situation. He didn’t know me at all nor did he try to understand the situation, but he would not think twice before labeling me and hurting me.

..

..

Note: The toxic “friends” I had were extremely negative and toxic, they would constantly call me negative and point finger at me and judge me without getting to know me based on the crap they knew about me, but they would never look at the mirror and see what they are first.

They were really not good for my mental health. Their behavior and words used to fuck me up. But I still stayed because I loved them and I was stupid I didn’t know boundary back then.

It was actually my fault for holding on and not cutting them off at the first sign of shit.

But I’ve learnt my lesson the hard way.

I don’t allow any more shit in my life. I have zero tolerance for BS. I don’t care if I’m alone. Being alone is better than “this”.
