Madeline was living in a lie her whole life. She isn’t sick.
After she realised everything that happened, she is unable to come in terms with how evil and selfish people in her life were.
They didn’t think twice before destroying her life. They didn’t think twice before ruining her reputation.
She lost Olly too. Her heart starts to ache.
She walks out to the balcony and looks at the stars above. A drop of tear falls down her cheek.
A star falls across the sky. She closes her eyes and makes a wish that she gets enough money to live alone and finally go to the ocean that she has dreamt of her whole life.
Even after everything she doesn’t give up on love. She still gives out love as much as she can and forgives.
She goes back to her room and picks up The Little Prince.
She was so upset when she read it for the first time, that he died in the end. She didn’t understand how he could choose death just so he could get back to his rose.
She understands it now. He wasn’t choosing to die. His rose was his whole life. Without her, he wasn’t really alive.
She isn’t really alive too.
She is growing like an indoor plant with the memories of sunlight.
