The willow.

(fanfic)

Harry is sitting under the willow tree with Snape.

There is a river flowing next to them. Harry picks up a tiny stone and throws it at the river. The stone skids few times and sinks.

Harry, “I keep feeling I’m not good enough. So I pushed her away.”

Harry rests his head on Snape’s shoulder.

Bj is standing next to them leaning against the tree.

Bj runs his hand through his hair and says, “I’ve been there too, I messed up so many times, you have no idea.”

Wyn gets up from where he was sitting with his back against the tree and grabs the steaming hot chocolate from the nearby table.

Wyn hands it to Harry and sits next to him.

Wyn, “We’re all in the same boat Harry.”

Harry, “I always mess things up, I’m not like everyone else. I think I’m better off alone. It hurts so much to be in love. I seem to never fall out of it.”

Bj smiles, “Messing things up is all I do. Kissing someone else to forget someone doesn’t really work as well.”

Harry, “I figured that out last year. It makes things so much worse.”

Wyn, “Maybe there will be someone outside your window with a blue french horn and maybe there won’t. You just keep living your life and it all works out in the end, you know?”

Harry keeps the mug down.

He gets up and stares at the river, “I can’t do a lot of things that others can easily. I don’t know what was I made for.”

Snape gets up and takes his hand, “Hey kiddo. You’ve come so far and you made a difference. Stop thinking too much into things. Everything always falls into place. Always.”

Noah who was standing behind them and listening says, “You should listen to them Harry and probably build a white house or something that she mentioned she likes.” He winks.

Bj grins and adds, “Don’t forget to get a bunch of tattoos too.”

Wyn smiles and adds, “And give her the freedom to choose what she wants.”

Snape smiles a knowing smile and says, “And always wear iconic black robes.”

Harry blushes, “I’ve already done all that.”

There is a rumble of loud thunder and everyone looks at the sky.

THE END.
