Just because I understand where someone is coming from doesn’t mean I need to agree with them.
We all know Joker’s story in DC universe. I haven’t watched the movie but I know.
Yes,
We know and understand why he did what he did, it makes sense.
But we don’t agree with him.
We understand why Taka did what he did in the Lion king because now we know the back story, but we don’t agree with him.
Same way,
I understand where certain people who did me wrong might be coming from.
Based on whatever I have seen online and my understanding nature because I always think of situations from different perspectives, POVs and from a bigger picture.
But I don’t agree with them, nevertheless.
Because if they had integrity, character and good values, the casualties could have been avoided.
