I feel the whole point of Instagram is to document my life and stay updated on what’s happening in this world and people I know.
Also,
Stand up for a cause, address pressing issues, educate myself on stuff and for entertainment.
Likes, follow, following, views are irrelevant.
I used to obsess about it during covid lockdown because I didn’t have anything better to do.
But after that, idgaf.
Because I value people in real life more than a picture I posted with them.
If you are a content creator, celebrity or a public figure then Instagram is used to create content based on it.
It’s then that you give importance to basics like following, likes etc because you are earning money off of it.
If you have your friends and family following you,
then Instagram is used to stay in touch with them without speaking.
I don’t know if the whole purpose of Instagram is being lost because of what people like Draco, Pratigya, Peter Pettigrew and monster at Social did to me.
But this is how I see Instagram and social media.
Anyone who values social media more than they value me as a person, has no place in my life.
….
I don’t know how you see and use social media.
But this is my personal opinion.
I’m aware that everyone has different opinions and it’s alright because everyone are not the same
Please don’t come at me for saying this.
I hope you respect difference in opinion.
I love instagram and social media apps. But I don’t use it extensively.
I don’t even remember the last time I liked a picture because I’m always so lost.
I stopped posting stories after Ginny unfollowed me.
I don’t know but I stopped caring about it long ago because life happened to me.
I feel happy when I see all the love that people show to me and I do care.
I’m so grateful that everyone helped with my life too.
I don’t know what’s happening right now but yeah.
I’m thankful and grateful for all the love.
