Will is not my ex.
We didn’t date or meet for a very long time.
We were best friends who were in love with each other.
He moved on years ago.
After he got married, I cried for a long time.
I moved on a couple of months before I met Ginny.
When we met at the end of 2022, the only thing we did was shake hands because he is married.
I call him Will because what happened with us is kinda like the movie Five feet apart.
After we met, I had feelings for him briefly and then I moved on.
We stopped speaking at the beginning of 2023.
He reached out to me last year.
He has always been kind and respectful.
He has always supported me and been there for me during my toughest times.
He told me I was special and he has been my best friend since we met in 2020.
Both of us have moved on years ago.
He doesn’t make it weird.
We speak every now and then sometimes.
I know he cares about me as a friend and he will not hurt me intentionally.
He has always been good.
He is one of the best people I know.
We’ll always be best friends even if we don’t speak.
After you get married, you cannot speak like how you used to before.
And that’s alright.
That’s just how life is.
