Whatever I said about Dudley’s father is not entirely true.
It is true but the way I constructed the truth was mean.
The thing is truth differs by the way you put it.
I painted the truth in anger.
So I twisted his words and actions because I was seeing him in that light.
If I painted it in love.
The truth would be a bit different because I would be seeing in that light.
The truth is the same but it just depends on how you see it.
Which then decides what meaning we place to the actions and words.
Dudley’s father has gone through a lot of difficulties in life and he has been facing financial issues.
We helped him when we could.
Now that we are also facing financial issues.
He is helping us and supporting us.
He has not been good towards me in the past.
Maybe it’s because of all the preconceived notions and misunderstandings.
Now he is trying to redeem himself.
He keeps trying to make it right with me.
Do you see how the truth changes when I’m not angry?
It’s the same thing.
But just depends on how you see it.
