No matter how or when mother speaks to father.
Father asks her to stop speaking.
He keeps repeating, “Can you stop.”
Even when mother speaks when they sit down and have a chat.
Father asks her to stop speaking.
When mother says things like she’s in a lot of pain and she is not able to handle what’s happening.
Father’s response will be,
“Can you stop talking.”
“Go die.”
“Stop acting.”
Mother is not at fault in this situation.
Father just doesn’t change.
No matter how many times or how many ways things are communicated to him.
Even when I say it in front of the world.
He doesn’t change.
His behaviour is engrained in him.
He is from the older generation.
He is just like every other malayali man from that generation.
Misogynistic, condescending and patriarchal.
He has extreme anger issues and inhuman rage.
