I’m not stupid.

I do understand what men are capable of.

I do understand why we should be scared of them.

I’m scared to travel alone in the night too.

But I do know not all men are like that.

Because I’ve been lucky enough to know them and speak to them.

I’m just choosing to believe in them.

Because when you believe in people great things can happen.
