In India, people don’t really give each other flowers.
On a date or to friends or anything else for that matter.
It’s very rare.
Flowers are mostly used for worship, welcoming people as a garland, worn in the hair as an accessory.
Etc.
Since I grew up watching/reading and being exposed to the western culture.
I buy myself flowers all the time since I started earning.
I buy them for my friends too.
I have been posting about it on my youtube and instagram.
After that,
I have been seeing people do the same.
Also.
After I mentioned it in my blog last year.
That I don’t like grand gestures and expensive gifts.
It caused a wildlife all over the world.
Hence everyone started posting about flowers and giving each other flowers etc.
People don’t really do this normally though.
