Note.

I don’t understand why people are hating on Jessa Hastings.

I just saw her Instagram stories and went to Reddit to check.

I read through everything and I would like to say this.

The posts that have resurfaced are from more than a decade ago.

Back then.

She was really young, stupid and didn’t know any better.

Like every other millennial.

We were a bunch of confused people.

C’mon guys.

All of us were stupid back then.

We’ve all said and done stupid stuff.

It was before the internet and social media.

We weren’t as educated on things as we are now.

Literally everyone has bodies in the attic.

I personally know so many people who have done and said some crazy shit in the past.

But now they are a totally different person.

People change.

People grow.

That’s the best part about being a human being.

Once we gain more knowledge, experience and understanding.

We adapt and become better.

Have some grace and allow people to change.

When a person has changed and grown.

I don’t think we should bring up something random that they did in the cold winters of 1991.

Also.

Her books are amazing.

MPU is literally one of the best things that’s happened to me.

Period.

As far as I have noticed from her Instagram.

She seems like a pretty fun person.

I personally don’t think people should hate on her for these things.

You are taking it too far.

I love Daisy Haites too.

But I don’t think hating on an author this much.

Over not writing something according to the whims and wishes of a few people in the fandom is normal.

You guys are being scary.

It’s literally up to the author to decide when they want to release a book and who ends up with whom.

Etc.

Like every other author on this planet.

Because the art belongs to them.

I’m going to leave you with a quote from Taylor Swift.

“I’ll build you a fort on some planet.

Where they can all understand it”

Because the hate literally doesn’t make sense to me.
