I was watching the below reel.
Which had me thinking.
Every job has its pros and cons.
To quote Mark Manson.
A job is like eating a shitty sandwich.
If you are working at a corporate.
Like I used to.
The pros are.
Goodies, paid leaves, reimbursement of internet and medical bills, PF, insurance, free medical check ups. etc.
The cons are.
Shitty managers, bitchy and asshole colleagues, work that is hell, repetitive tasks, painful meetings which could have been an email. etc.
Just like that.
Content creation has its own pros and cons.
Projections of random people on the internet is one of the con.
People who lack emotional regulation and basic skills like handling differences in opinion maturely.
People who seek cathartic release in the comments sections of innocent content creators.
People who vomit their insecurities and shitty mood on the comments sections.
Etc.
This comes as a package deal with the job description.
Cannot avoid it, unfortunately.
But you can ignore and have a thick skin towards it.
As long as you know your truth, you’re good.
Just like how people who work at corporate face the cons of the job.
When they are already dealing with their personal problems and a plate full of other shit.
Content creators have to face the cons of the job when their plates are already full of shit.
