She said to me she likes to keep her friendships drama free and smooth.
Whenever there is any sign of conflict, she gives up and bolts.
She said I caused “drama” in 2022.
That’s why she blocked me.
When I confronted her about it a couple of months back.
She gave up on the conversation because she doesn’t want “unnecessary drama and confrontation” from casual friends.
She assumed I had a problem with her replying late to my messages.
She termed it “teenager behaviour”.
I clarified that I don’t care much if she replies late.
She’s not my best friend or boyfriend.
So I’m not going to lose sleep over it.
I also explained that.
Conversations cannot always be smooth.
Bolting at the first sign of conflict and friction is the actual “teenager behaviour”.
Because adult conversations require you to be vulnerable.
It cannot always be smooth.
We went back and forth for a while.
She told me how she felt and so did I.
We resolved what happened between us.
