After the incident that I told you about where my father hit my mom.
Father completely stopped speaking to mom.
Usually whenever they fight.
Father starts speaking after a month or two.
But it’s been 4 months and he is still not speaking.
I have been acting as a mediator.
And I’m honestly tired.
Tired of them not speaking to each other.
Not tired of being a mediator.
I tried clearing things between them multiple times.
But to no success.
They aren’t speaking.
Mom has been crying.
Instead of asking him to speak.
She gets bitter and shouts and makes it worse.
Because self respect.
Father said he’s not speaking because he wants peace of mind.
But then.
Her reactions are valid based on whatever she faced her whole life.
She had forgotten everything and was on good terms with father.
But then shit happened.
Father doesn’t know how to fight verbally.
He’s not good with words.
He’s a man of few words.
Mom knows how to speak.
So when they fight.
Father gets fucked in the head and he resorts to hitting.
There’s no reasonable explanation for this behaviour.
Because I don’t agree with it even if I try to understand.
But yeah.
