The next time I went there after a few weeks.
When I ordered my food.
She came with the order.
I said thank you and continued reading.
She stood there waiting.
I looked up and said hi.
She asked if I go out often.
I said, yes.
She said, “text me on my number and call me whenever you go out”.
I had already made it clear non verbally that I wasn’t interested by deleting her number.
She kept looking at me and stood there waiting.
I said.
“I lost your number.”
She said.
“I thought you had my number.”
She gave me her number again.
I came back home and deleted it again.
Which is a clear non verbal boundary that I was not interested.
I completely forgot about the whole thing and her.
I was going to that restaurant regularly because it’s the only park in EC.
Also.
Because that was where I met Ginny for the first time and we had our first kiss.
I always sit at the corner table and cry.
I wanted to be alone.
The next time I went there.
She approached me again.
Even though I had made it clear that I wasn’t interested in engaging.
She started initiating conversation.
When I said I was hungry.
She gave me Pani Puri.
I said, “I don’t want it.”
She said, “please take it.”
After that she left.
